Entertainment and Enlightenment Under One Roof
Guests at this hotel can soak in the ingenious atmosphere of the venue itself. The Piano Bar, a colonial homage to Britain's acquisition of Palestine in 1917, is not just a place to unwind but also houses a large collection of Banksy artworks. The on-site museum offers free entry to guests and delves into the complex, sometimes distressing history of Israel and the Palestinian Territories, making for a thought-provoking exploration of the area's heritage.
Location & Transportation: Navigating Bethlehem
Situated 13 km from Malkha, the Walled Off Hotel is perfectly located to provide visitors with a profound sense of history, spirituality, and emotion. It offers easy access to Bethlehem's less political sights like the Church of the Nativity and St Catherine's Church, which is just 1.6 km away. Its unique position also accords guests unparalleled views of the concrete wall and its watchtowers, described as “the worst view in the world,” yet undeniably poignant.

I loved staying in the Artist Room, Banksy, especially with that hidden entry behind the bookcase and the amazing artwork on the walls. The live music and cozy lounge area were perfect for winding down after a day of exploring. The only downside was the food could have been better, but the breakfast spread was really nice! 🌟

Incredible breakfast and eye-opening tours!
Had a fab solo trip for a night! The breakfast was HUGE and super tasty. Marwan, my tour guide, was awesome and sharing the history of the wall was so enlightening. The room was basic but comfy. Just wish the bathroom had better water pressure. Overall, a unique experience for anyone curious about the area.

Incredible stay in the Budget Barracks, where the staff's friendliness and attentiveness stood out right from the warm welcome. Each morning, the unlimited breakfast, including a delicious Manchego ratatouille, was a highlight. The unique artwork and hotel design added depth and meaning to the experience. While the museum and gallery were excellent, a wider food menu could enhance the dining experience during stay.
